Karen Stevens

Karen graduated from the Branford Hall massage therapy program. She has since pursued continuing education in medical, sports and prenatal massage in an effort to augment her already solid background in Swedish and deep therapeutic massage. She worked at a Physical Therapy practice to further her knowledge in applied kinesiology and pathology as well. She is passionate about working with clients to achieve wellness and understanding of proper body mechanics after injury. During a session with Karen a variety of techniques will be used, including acupressure, trigger point therapy and positional release, leaving you relaxed and tension-free.

Lauren Hammeal

Lauren graduated from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1997. Prior to that, she worked in hospice, helping patients achieve comfort. It was her experiences there that lead her to a career in massage therapy. Her intention with clients is to improve their sense of wellbeing. Lauren finds it amazing, the difference even one session can make. She incorporates her knowledge of Swedish massage, deep therapeutic, hot stone, prenatal massage, reflexology and Jin Shin Do into her practice. Every session Lauren performs is thoughtful, detailed and creatively designed to improve the way your body moves and feels.

Laura DiTuri

After thirteen years of living on the island of Cozumel, Mexico, and seven years in Colorado, Laura has returned to Connecticut to be with her family and practice her skills at Rituals. Laura graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 1994 as a Certified Massage Therapist.  She received additional certification for a concentration in sports massage.  Laura’s intense interest in sports, and her professional background create a perfect blend every summer as she provides massage relief to cyclists on week-long bicycle tours through Colorado.  Laura specializes in therapeutic, energizing, healing massage using Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports and Reiki techniques.

Christine Gallo

Christine graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage located in Ithaca, NY in 2004.  She specializes in deep therapeutic, healing stone, Swedish and pre-natal massage techniques.  Over the past seven years her practice has been an amazing journey working with her clients to achieve balance in body, mind and spirit.  She has worked in a chiropractor’s office, a wellness center and some very well known destination spas.  Each session with Christine is tailored to your needs and delivered with presence and awareness.

Cynthia Jassil
LMT & Esthetician

Cynthia had her first experience with the spa industry back in the nineties. It was at this time that she noticed the difference in her skin while receiving facials on a regular basis. This motivated her to educate herself more about the field of esthetics. She attended and became certified as an esthetician at State Academy. Since then Cynthia has had additional training in microdermabrasion, peels, numerous product knowledge classes, and specific facial massage techniques. During a facial she works with the client to best ascertain the most effective treatment and appropriate homecare regimen for their specific skincare concerns.

Cynthia, wanting to expand her education, later attended Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and received her massage therapy license in 1995. Cynthia has since participated in seminars for aromatherapy, myofascial, hot stone massage, cranial sacral therapy and gained invaluable experience in massage techniques by working with the individual concerns of her clients. In each massage session she draws upon these different modalities to best accommodate the unique needs of her clients.  Cynthia believes that incorporating massage into our lives on a regular basis can help ease our stress levels and enhance our sense of well-being.

Tara Savio
Esthetician, Nail Technician & Make-up Artist
 
Tara graduated from Brio Academy, completing the fully accredited 600 hour Esthetic Program. Upon completion of her program she received a certification in esthetics. Along with facials, she also studied full body and facial waxing, nail services, make-up application and body treatments. Tara specializes in the SunFx all-natural sunless spray tanning method offered at Rituals. Her clients leave the spa looking and feeling better with a natural, flawless bronze glow.

Shyanne Magoon
Esthetician, Nail Technician & Make-up Artist
 
Shaynne attended the fully accredited 600 hour Esthetic Program at Brio Academy of Cosmetology. Upon completion of her program she received a certification in esthetics. After she finished school, she practiced esthetics at a spa in her hometown where she received extensive hands-on training and experience. Shyanne is dedicated to learning new techniques to improve her work, and has traveled throughout the northeast to receive additional training in various skin care lines as well. Shyanne has performed numerous bridal, prom and other specialized make-up applications and is experienced in bridal runway shows.
