Dr. Henley is a nationally ranked surgeon with over 25 years experience, and has been featured on Dateline, Time Magazine, Fox News and is the cosmetic expert for WTNH. He is on the teaching staff at Yale University , with a private practice in CT and Manhattan .  Dr Henley is well known for his natural appearing and highly innovative procedures in mini lifts, “waddle necks”, and facial rejuvenation for younger patients not needing a full face lift. When you decide it is time to explore any non-surgical aesthetic treatment, nothing is more important than a thorough skin assessment. Rituals offer “The Ultimate Skin Evaluation”, free of charge, to all of our clients. Your first visit includes a one-hour meeting with an aesthetic professional who will go over their experience, training, and philosophy in regards to aesthetic procedures. We then utilize the Clarity Pro system to take high-resolution digital and UV photos of your face and/or other areas of your body. These photos show how your skin compares to others of your age in the areas of wrinkles, sun-spots, bacteria levels, texture, pores, etc. You will leave this meeting with 6 photos that will document your skin’s condition at that time, and help you make a sound decision.

We will continually update your “photofile” as you go through treatments with us to show you the improvements of your skin and to make sure we are delivering the type of results that should occur. We have no desire to take money from our clients unless we perform well, and we prove this with a diligent photography policy.

Acne Therapy- Intense Pulse Light/BBL
Dramatically improve the appearance of acne scars with laser and BBL® Broadband Light treatments. Atrophic scars are targeted by the laser to initiate the formation of collagen under the scar which "lifts" the indentation resulting in a smoother skin surface. Red and brown scars can also be improved with light therapy (laser and/or BBL) which fades the discoloration. These treatments will give a more consistent and regular texture and color in the skin and can be effective for any skin area where scarring has occurred due to acne.

Botox Injections 
Botox is one of the most popular and effective treatments for wrinkles caused by expressions around the eyes and on the forehead.  You will normally see results in 2-5 days, and it is effective for 3-6 months.  We price our Botox by the unit, as each person’s needs are different. Dr. Henley is one of the most experienced injectors in the country. 
  
BBL/IPL Advanced Pulse Light Treatments 
Rituals Spa and Medical Aesthetics offers the most advanced and widest variety of IPL/BBL (intense pulsed light) technology.  IPL/BBL is often called photorejuvenation or photofacial.  It is the new gold-standard for the treatment of hyperpigmentation, sun-damage, rosacea, vascular lesions, active acne, and even collagen rejuvenation for improved skin texture and tone.  You may notice positive changes even after your very first session.  We recommend an initial series of 3-5 treatments, one every three-four weeks.  Depending on the condition of the skin, more treatments may be necessary.  Many people maintain their results with an additional maintenance treatment every 6-18 months.
 

Chairside Teeth Whitening
Chairside teeth whitening is one of the most effective and quickest forms of achieving brilliant, white teeth. Rituals is proud to hold the platinum status of being a NorthEast distributor of the highest concentration laser solution on the market, for unsurpassed results. Unlike traditional trays and gels, you will notice a very nice improvement even after one treatment.  Each treatment lasts from 30 to 60 minutes, and there is rarely any post-treatment sensitivities.  Get ready to have your smile stand out! 

Chemical Peels 
Chemical peels are an excellent way to address acne, sun damage, poor skin tone, enlarge pores, blotchy skin, and fine lines and wrinkles.  Rituals offers a high quality selection of peels best suited to your skin type. A series of several treatments is recommended for best results, and can be combined with microdermabrasion. Chemical peels are a great “finishing touch” to other procedures. 

Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion
Rituals uses the DiamondTome Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion system.  Using surgical stainless steel diamond encrusted wands, we gently remove the dead layers of skin to expose newer, younger skin. This has proven to be one of the most popular and effective treatment for wrinkles, acne, acne scars, sun-damage, active acne, enlarged pores, etc. with little to no downtime. This is the most popular medspa treatment in the country, and for good reason- it works!

Dermal Fillers - Restylane/Radiesse Injections
Collagen injections have been used for many years as an effective treatment for wrinkles, scar revision, and lip enhancement.  Restylane®, Hyalaform® and Juvederm® are long lasting gels used for filling fine lines and wrinkles on the face and for lip enhancement. This treatment gives immediate results for an improved appearance. Our skincare experts will help you decide which is best for you. 

Laser Hair Removal 
Make unwanted facial and body hair a thing of the past, thanks to superior laser innovation and technology. No more painful waxing, electrolysis or razors! Rituals’ two options for laser hair removal deliver 21st century technology for treatment of this distressing problem. Cleared for permanent hair removal, our lasers can treat all skin tones safely and effectively, even clients with a suntan. Our Sciton laser is FDA approved and is operated by highly trained nurses. You may need anywhere between 3 – 8 treatments depending on the area of the body and the color of the hair. 

Medical Microdermabrasion
Medical Microdermabrasion is a 4-step treatment that utilizes crystal-free microdermabrasion, one of 4 chemical peels, a biO2 Oxy-Mistä treatment, and a hydrator/sunblock.  Medical Microdermabrasion is a much more effective treatment than traditional microdermabrasion.  To begin, a series of 4 treatments is recommended, with one treatment every 2 weeks.  Medical Microdermabrasion is also an ideal skin maintenance treatment.

Leg Vein Treatments 
Rituals utilizes the Sciton Profile 1064nd:yag system of offer effective treatment for vascular lesions including spider veins, small varicose veins, facial vessels, cherry angiomas, and more.  We can successfully treat both blue and red vessels up to 3mm in diameter.  2-3 treatments are usually needed, 8-12 weeks between each treatment. 

Permanent Makeup   
Permanent make-up is the best cosmetic solution for people who are allergic to regular make-up, have vision problems, arthritis, or suffering facial hair loss due to alopecia or chemotherapy, or simply want to subtly enhance features. Intra-Dermal pigmentation is a revolutionary new procedure, applying federally approved micro-insertions of mineral extracts to the dermal layer of the skin. Profrational
The Sciton ProFractional is the latest in laser technology, and Rituals is one of the few to offer it.  ProFractional creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin, which invigorates the body’s natural healing process, and stimulates production of new collagen to smooth out wrinkles, lines, scars, sun damage, age spots and other irregularities.  ProFractional is typically performed in a series of 1-4 treatments, spaced 3-6 weeks apart, depending on your needs. ProFractional is a dramatic improvement over treatments such as Fraxel and Thermage. There is much less discomfort, and it is less expensive.

Sciton MicroLaser Peel
The MicroLaser Peel is the latest in skin rejuvenation.  This is a fabulous procedure in which an erbium laser is used to safely and comfortably remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. The procedure is most commonly used to eliminate fine lines, especially around the mouth and eyes. The Micro-Laser Peel is also effective in treating facial scars or uneven pigmentation. Laser resurfacing may be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, shoulders, back or any other region plagued by sun damage and aging.   One 10 micron MicroLaser Peel is the equivalent of 4-6 microdermabrasion treatments.  You will experience 2-6 days of redness and/or peeling with this procedure depending on the depth. 

SkinTyte Skin Tightening
The Sciton SkinTyte is the latest and most effective procedure available to actually “tighten” loose and sagging skin.  Delivering light and heat energy deep into the dermis, SkinTyte creates collagen retraction and remodeling. The laser treats lax and redundant skin throughout the body, including face, neck, chest, abdomen, thighs, and arms. As your body reacts to the series of treatments, skin is lifted and tightened.  A series of 5-6 treatments is recommended, once per month.

Tattoo Removal 
 Tattoo removal is becoming increasingly popular, as 60% of Americans now have at least one tattoo.  Depending on the color of ink, age of the tattoo, etc., you may need 3-15 treatments. There is normally little or no scabbing/bleeding involved, and we utilize a topical anesthetic and/or cold air anethesia which greatly reduces any discomfort. Pricing is based on the size of tattoo.
