Rituals Spa is now hiring professionals for a sophisticated, full service, wellness day spa located in Guilford, CT. Rituals Spa is currently seeking the following spa professionals:

Full-time and part-time positions available. We are presently looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our Spa Team. Availablity to work weekends is required. Responsible for providing guests with comprehensive and professional massages. Must be able to perform multiple modalities: Deep tissue massage, swedish massage, reflexology, stone massage, pre-natal massage, etc. Other modalities that will be a plus include: aromatherapy, ashiatsu, thai massage and ayurvedic treatments. Must have a minimum of 500 hours of massage training including courses in anatomy and physiology from an accredited massage school or college. Candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have a Connecticut license. A minimum of 2 years experience is preferred.

The candidate must have proficient skills in hand and foot treatments including spa manicures and spa pedicures. Experience with gels and silks is preferred but not required. Must be able to produce precise, long lasting polish applications and promote the appropriate services and products at Rituals Spa. The successful candidate must be able to educate clients in home care nail maintenance, and must be familiar with common nail disorders.

A certificate of completion from an accredited Nail Care institute is required. A minimum of 2 years experience is preferred. Clientelle is preferred but not required.

Part-time position available to a team-oriented professional. The candidate must be available Monday - Thursday with Wednesdays and Thursdays being evening hours. A minimum of two years field experience is required, spa experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be proficient in facials, nails, full body waxing including brazilians, make-up application, retail sales/product knowledge, lash and brow tinting, and body treatments.

Requires at least one year front desk/guest services experience preferably in the hospitality industry. Candidate will be responsible for greeting and checking in guests, booking appointments and assisting guests as needed. Must possess excellent computer, communication and organizational skills, be detail oriented and thrive working in a fast-paced environment. Must also possess excellent customer service skills both face-to-face and on the telephone. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Successful candidate must also conduct daily opening procedures and/or nightly closing procedures.
